Invite: Meet The Speakers 2023
Palm Springs, CA - Icon City Entertainment, in conjunction with Brothers of the Desert , is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual "Meet the Speakers" event. This occasion is set to kickstart the 5th Annual Wellness Summit, shedding light on the contributions of underserved communities in various professional fields. The event, scheduled for Friday, November 10th, has been generously backed by Let's Kick Ass Palm Springs and Emerald and Sage Dispensary. It will be held at the Margaritaville Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The evening promises attendees the opportunity to mingle over cocktails and complimentary refreshments while engaging in enlightening dialogue. This year's event holds a special place in everyone's hearts as it pays tribute to Dr. Stephaun Elite Wallace, an esteemed presenter alumni. Dr. Wallace, a renowned epidemiologist, HIV researcher, and gay rights activist, sadly passed away recently. His absence is deeply felt in the community, and this event aims to honor his significant contributions. Icon City Entertainment, known for its commitment to empowering artists and entrepreneurs from underserved communities, is proud to be part of this initiative. Born out of Philadelphia and now operating across Atlanta and Southern California, Icon City has become a beacon of hope for many aspiring individuals in the LGBT community. Past attendees of the wellness summit have included award-winning filmmaker Nathan Hale Williams, executive directors of DAP Health and The LGBT Center of Coachella Valley, and visitors from across the county. This year's event promises to uphold the high standards set in previous years, offering attendees a unique opportunity to network and learn from a diverse group of professionals. As the date approaches, mark your calendars for an evening of camaraderie, remembrance, and anticipation for the enlightening discussions that await us at the 5th Annual Wellness Summit. We look forward to commencing this wellness journey with you.
