ICON CITY ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC CONCLUSION OF PARTNERSHIP WITH GREEN ROOM LLC, D/B/A EMERALD AND SAGE

Los Angeles, CA — 07/02/25 — Icon City Entertainment today announced the conclusion of its partnership with Green Room LLC, doing business as Emerald and Sage, effective immediately. This decision follows a thorough and thoughtful evaluation of the evolving needs of both organizations.

In discussions concluding the collaboration, Emerald and Sage, a cannabis dispensary, expressed their intent to close their current location in light of ongoing economic uncertainty impacting many creative businesses. Icon City is proud to have supported the project beyond the initial agreement, ensuring the dispensary was successfully opened, fully stocked, and professionally staffed to serve the community. We recognize and appreciate Emerald and Sage’s contributions during our partnership and extend best wishes for their future success.

Since the inception of this collaboration, Icon City and Emerald and Sage have worked together to advance creative opportunities and amplify voices within culture, equity, and community-centered projects.

As Icon City Entertainment continues to expand its ecosystem of empowerment-focused programming and deepen its commitment to authentic storytelling for marginalized communities, this transition allows us to pursue fresh partnerships and innovative opportunities aligned with our long-term strategic vision.

Already in 2025, Icon City has successfully delivered a film screening and numerous events, including the 4th Annual Community Wellness Summit in conjunction with city partners and organizations, reinforcing its dedication to celebrating culture and wellness in the region.
