🧠 The Client
Soul-Cal Experience is Southern California’s legacy music and entertainment series, best known for soulful concert productions featuring icons like Lalah Hathaway, Leela James, Snoh Aalegra, and Jonathan Butler. As their event footprint expanded, so did the need for seamless digital ticketing.
Icon City was brought into the project by Willie Ellison, the project’s principal client lead, via our ongoing relationship with the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce – Palm Springs Chapter.
🛠 Icon City’s Role: Online Ticketing Integration
Built and deployed a custom ticketing infrastructure for Soul-Cal’s “Music Under the Stars” concert series
Ensured mobile-friendly, branded purchasing flows optimized for both desktop and on-the-go users
Integrated email capture and purchase analytics for future fan engagement and marketing
Provided tech support and strategic consultation on user journey and access logistics
